Breathing influences our energy system and our psyche - and vice versa. By influencing the breath, we can influence all other systems in the body.

Leichtigkeit

We often breathe shallowly, hastily or haltingly. The body reacts to this with nervousness, stress symptoms and exhaustion. Conscious breathing, on the other hand, provides energy and clarity, helps to improve access to oneself, releases physical and mental blockages and tension, alleviates discomfort and creates a new attitude towards life.

In this course you will become aware of your breath and learn various breathing techniques from different traditions, which you can then continue to practise independently and use profitably in everyday life to relax, centre, energize, strengthen your voice or improve your performance. If important for understanding, we will also go into the anatomy and physiology of breathing. Unfortunately, it would go beyond the scope of this course to discuss individual respiratory diseases and their treatment options.
